In a shocking turn of events at the Qatar Grand Prix, Ducati’s Pecco Bagnaia blew his shot at challenging Marc Marquez by crashing during qualifying, handing the pole position to the reigning champion. The session was full of surprises, with Alex Marquez delivering a spectacular performance to secure a front-row start alongside his brother.

The qualifying session saw Jorge Martin struggling to make an impact on his MotoGP return, while Fabio Quartararo impressed by clinching the third spot on the grid. Yamaha’s Quartararo showcased his skills, fending off competitors like Morbidelli and Di Giannantonio.

Notably, rookie Fermin Aldeguer and Maverick Vinales also put on noteworthy performances, securing decent starting positions for the race. However, it was a disappointing day for Pecco Bagnaia, who had to settle for starting from the fourth row after his untimely crash.
