Consultant Helmut Marko acknowledged this problem and explained that the simulator did not accurately replicate the car’s behavior over the kerbs. This problem has been present since 2022, but Red Bull’s previous dominance masked it. Verstappen mentioned that the team will continue to struggle on circuits that require the car to effectively deal with the kerbs. He also acknowledged that certain tracks may be more suitable for his car’s performance.
