Mario Andretti acredita que Carlos Sainz tem potencial para se tornar um Campeão Mundial de Fórmula 1.

Carlos Sainz delivers an exceptional performance at the challenging Formula 1 circuit of Albert Park. The victory of the talented Spaniard at the Australian GP, just two weeks after undergoing an appendicitis, captured the attention of many. Sainz’s remarkable efforts and exceptional skills behind the wheel resulted in a flawless performance in Melbourne.

Despite his undeniable talent, Carlos Sainz faces uncertainties about his future as he currently does not have a contract for the next season. However, the Australian Grand Prix provided the perfect opportunity for him to attract the interest of several team bosses. Several team bosses have already expressed their desire to acquire this exceptional talent.

A highly respected former racing driver made a bold statement about Sainz. According to this Italo-American individual, Sainz has the potential to win a World Championship. Belief in Sainz’s abilities remains strong, regardless of any incidents that may occur during a race.

During the recent weekend, Ferrari demonstrated impressive pace in the practice sessions, qualifying, and the race itself. As a result, the Italian team is now just four points behind Red Bull in the 2024 constructors’ championship. This strong performance further highlights Sainz’s exceptional skills.

In early February, the announcement of a driver change for Ferrari in 2025 caused a sensation on the internet. Unfortunately for Carlos Sainz, this meant losing his seat for the following year. The 29-year-old driver was in negotiations for a contract extension with the Maranello-based team, but the team management had different plans.

Mario Andretti, a former world champion, expressed dissatisfaction with this decision. He believes that Sainz is currently the most sought-after prospect in the driver market. Sainz’s podium finishes in Bahrain and Australia only enhanced his reputation. He remains the only non-Red Bull driver to win a race recently, showcasing his exceptional skills. There are speculations that Sainz may even join the powerful Red Bull Formula 1 team in the future, if circumstances align favorably.
