Magnussen enfrenta desafios significativos com a Haas além do aviso de proibição na F1.

The Abu Dhabi Autonomous Racing League is the latest challenge for Kevin Magnussen in Formula 1. The Danish driver is at risk of being banned from racing this season due to accumulating 10 penalty points in just six events. To avoid suspension, Magnussen must complete the rest of the season without receiving two more penalty points. However, even if he manages to avoid the ban, his future with Haas is uncertain. The team has a reserve driver and Ferrari protege, Ollie Bearman, who is likely to join the team full-time in the near future. Although Nico Hulkenberg’s move to Sauber next season initially seemed to ease the pressure on Magnussen, team boss Ayao Komatsu expressed doubts about Magnussen’s ability to be a reference point for the team. Magnussen’s recent on-track incidents, including his aggressive driving in Miami, did not help his case. His actions, which went against team orders, were criticized by the team and further strained his relationship with Komatsu. Magnussen’s rapid accumulation of penalty points and inconsistent performances have not endeared him to his boss. Haas needs a strong driver to replace Hulkenberg, who has excelled this season. Komatsu spoke highly of Hulkenberg’s performance and would like to renew his contract. However, due to pressure from Audi in the driver market, a deal could not be reached. As a result, Komatsu is facing the reality of losing his top driver and potentially relying on Magnussen as a continuity candidate. Although Magnussen has shown flashes of potential, his results have been less impressive than Hulkenberg’s. With Bearman waiting in the wings, Magnussen’s future with Haas is uncertain. He may need the support of team owner Gene Haas or assistance from the driver market in general to secure his place. However, Haas is now a more attractive option for drivers, making Magnussen’s position even more precarious. If Magnussen faces a ban, this could provide Haas with the opportunity to assess the potential of a Hulkenberg-Bearman driver duo and solidify Komatsu’s desire for that partnership.
