M-Sport reacts to Hyundai rumors

Richard Millener, the team principal of M-Sport, has expressed his thoughts on the recent speculation surrounding Adrien Fourmaux’s future. Rumors had emerged in Finland suggesting that Hyundai was interested in signing the French driver, especially considering their desire to have a full-time third driver until 2025. Fourmaux, who secured the British title with M-Sport last year, has already achieved four podium finishes this season and currently holds fifth place in the championship standings.

When asked about Fourmaux’s future in light of the Hyundai rumors, Millener acknowledged that the talented driver’s impressive performances this season would undoubtedly attract the attention of other teams. However, Millener emphasized that Fourmaux is aware of his status as the number one driver at M-Sport, a position he wouldn’t be able to replicate elsewhere. Millener remains optimistic that they will be able to retain Fourmaux within the M-Sport team.

Millener also addressed Fourmaux’s desire for improvements to the Ford Puma Rally1 Hybrid. He assured that M-Sport is fully capable of meeting Fourmaux’s expectations and delivering the necessary enhancements. Millener acknowledged that there are areas that need improvement to maintain competitiveness against other teams, but he reiterated that everyone at M-Sport is committed to supporting Fourmaux. The team recognizes Fourmaux’s incredible talent and his ambition to secure his first win and ultimately a championship with M-Sport. Millener stressed the importance of working diligently in the coming months to ensure they provide everything necessary to keep Fourmaux satisfied.

Millener emphasized the strong bond and mutual respect that exists between everyone at M-Sport and Fourmaux. He believes that this connection can often be more significant than any other factor. Millener expressed his confidence in Fourmaux’s upcoming success and his desire to see that success achieved with M-Sport.
