Lynk & Co estreia SUV elétrico 02 destinado à Europa

Lynk & Co, the brand from the Chinese group Geely, has just unveiled the new 02, the company’s first electric model intended for Europe, although it is also available in China as the Z20.

Designed for the European market, the design of the 02 was developed at the global design studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, which allowed the new 100% electric SUV to feature an aerodynamically optimized front, equipped with a divided light signature.

The designers also gave the model a glass roof, a two-tone paint job, and 19 or 20-inch wheels. Additionally, from the side view, the retractable door handles stand out, while the rear section is marked by a prominent rear spoiler with integrated taillights.

The interior features a minimalist design, highlighted by a two-level dashboard, an oval steering wheel, a 10.2-inch digital instrument panel, and an infotainment system with a 15.4-inch screen.

In addition, the new 100% electric SUV from Lynk & Co is equipped with induction chargers, heated electric front seats, and the Journey Camera, which allows users to “take selfies or group photos directly from the rearview mirror to capture memories during trips.”

In terms of storage, the 02 offers a “frunk” with a capacity of 15 liters, along with a trunk that has 410 liters of space.

Based on Geely’s EA2 platform, the same one used by the Volvo EX30, the Lynk & Co 02 measures 4.46 meters in length, 1.84 m in width, 1.57 m in height, and has a wheelbase of 2.75 m.

Powered by an electric motor with 272 hp and a maximum torque of 343 Nm, the 02 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 5.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 km/h.

Powering the electric motor is a 66 kWh battery, which boasts a range of up to 445 km. The battery can be charged using a 159 kW DC fast charger, allowing it to go from 10% to 80% in just 30 minutes.

Lynck & Co has announced that the new 02 is now available for online sale in Europe starting at €35,495.
