Next week, the BP Ultimate Rally Raid Portugal continues the World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC), and the third round of the season will feature some of the biggest figures in the sport competing, as well as some new additions.

After the end of the Audi project, Carlos Sainz returns to X-Raid with a MINI JCW Rally Plus, about three months after his victory in the Dakar 2024. Nasser Al-Attiyah is in the Nasser Racing by Prodrive Hunter, while the official Toyota team presents names like Lucas Moraes and Seth Quintero.

Overdrive Racing will enter three Toyotas, including the well-known Guerlain Chicherit and Yazeed Al Rajhi. Competing at home, João Ferreira will pilot a MINI JCW Rally Plus from X-Raid, being one of several Portuguese drivers in the race.

In the T3 category, the field also includes strong names: Austin Jones, Rokas Baciuska (Can-Am), or the winner of the Dakar 2024, Cristina Gutiérrez (Red Bull Off-Road Junior Team USA), as well as her teammate Sébastien Loeb, are some examples. In the T4 category, the Portuguese round of the W2RC will feature, among others, Yasir Seaidan (Race World Team/Can-Am), who finished third in the Dakar last January.

You can check the complete list of entries at this link.
