Louis Vuitton takes center stage: Monaco Grand Prix renamed for 2026 in historic partnership

Monaco Grand Prix Gets a Luxe Facelift: Louis Vuitton Takes Center Stage in 2026!

In an exhilarating twist that is set to redefine the opulence of motorsport, Louis Vuitton has officially secured the title partnership for the prestigious Monaco Grand Prix starting in 2026. The iconic race will now be known as the Formula 1 Louis Vuitton Grand Prix de Monaco, marking a monumental shift in branding that replaces the previous titleholder, TAG Heuer.

This multi-year agreement signals a bold move by the Automobile Club de Monaco (ACM) as the legendary race prepares for its 83rd installment next year. With Louis Vuitton’s luxurious branding set to envelop the circuit, the glamour of the Monaco weekend is about to reach unprecedented heights. This partnership is a part of Formula 1’s strategic initiative to deepen its ties with high-profile lifestyle brands, further fueled by LVMH’s expansive global partnership that began last year.

Louis Vuitton’s presence at the Monaco Grand Prix is not new; the brand has been synonymous with luxury and exclusivity, already showcasing its stunning trophy trunk as a coveted symbol of victory. The 2026 edition will see the sixth successive trophy trunk, meticulously crafted in Asnières and adorned with a reimagined Monogram canvas in striking red, featuring a white-and-red “V” motif that artfully intertwines “Vuitton and Victory,” inspired by the colors of the Monaco flag.

Greg Maffei, president of Liberty Media, expressed his enthusiasm over this landmark collaboration, stating, “LVMH and Formula 1 are two global brands that consistently push the boundaries of creativity and innovation, values core to Liberty Media.” The partnership, which expands on the successful collaboration during the Las Vegas Grand Prix last year, is a testament to Formula 1’s vision for growth and commercial expansion.

Stefano Domenicali, the CEO of F1, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the alignment of values between the sport and LVMH. “Our sport is founded on the relentless pursuit of excellence, a value that also lies at the heart of LVMH,” he remarked. As Formula 1 continues to attract a diverse and expanding audience, the collaboration with LVMH is anticipated to enhance the spectator experience and elevate the storied heritage of the sport.

“This is a landmark partnership for both companies,” Domenicali added, extending his gratitude to Bernard and Frédéric Arnault for their commitment to realizing this ambitious vision.

As we gear up for this electrifying new chapter in Monaco’s racing legacy, one thing is clear: The fusion of high-octane motorsport and unparalleled luxury is set to captivate audiences worldwide. The countdown to 2026 has officially begun, and motorsport aficionados are in for an unforgettable experience!
