Los Angeles Rams SoFi Stadium to Have Own eVTOL Air Taxi Terminal

In a major breakthrough, Stellantis-backed eVTOL company Archer is making waves with its latest creation, the Midnight. This cutting-edge vehicle aims to revolutionize transportation by replacing long drives with quick electric flights. With its ability to reach speeds of up to 150 mph (241 kph) and cover distances of 100 miles (160 km), the Midnight is set to change the game.

Designed as an air taxi, the Midnight can accommodate up to four passengers, their carry-on luggage, and a pilot. Its unique design allows for back-to-back flights of 20-50 miles (32-80 km), making it perfect for urban aerial transportation. Archer has wasted no time in announcing its plans to launch an aerial mobility network in Los Angeles by 2026.

Excitingly, Archer has already identified the locations for take-off and landing pads. These include the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the University of Southern California, Orange County, Santa Monica, Hollywood Burbank, Long Beach, and Van Nuys. The company is even in talks with the Los Angeles Rams football team to establish a terminal near the SoFi Stadium, as well as targeting the Hollywood Park for the same purpose.

Archer’s ambitious timeline aligns perfectly with the upcoming Summer Olympics in Los Angeles in 2028. If successful, the city could become the first to have an operational air mobility network in place during such a significant event. With the support of Stellantis, as well as partnerships with Southwest Airlines and United Airlines, Archer’s promises hold weight.

But the company’s plans don’t stop at Los Angeles. Archer also has its sights set on the San Francisco Bay Area, where it intends to establish a similar network. With these groundbreaking developments, the future of transportation is looking brighter than ever. Stay tuned for more updates on this game-changing innovation.
