Lenda do Liverpool avaliada em $90 milhões vista na garagem da McLaren durante o treino do Grande Prêmio do Barein.

Icon of Liverpool, Steven Gerrard, attended the second training session in Bahrain as a special guest of McLaren. Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris were also present during the event, adding to the list of celebrities and renowned athletes who attend Formula 1 Grand Prix weekends. As teams prepare for the start of the 2024 season, the Liverpool legend was seen in Bahrain, showing his support for the team.

The renowned idol of Liverpool, whose net worth is estimated at $90 million, was seen in the McLaren box during the second free practice session. Gerrard cheered as Piastri and Norris achieved impressive second and third places in the first practice session. Furthermore, he was seen wearing a McLaren cap, a clear demonstration of his loyalty to the team.

Woking, the headquarters of McLaren, faced no unexpected challenges with its chassis as it prepares for the qualifying session on Friday. The team remains optimistic about its chances of challenging the leaders throughout the season and potentially securing race wins. Lando Norris, in particular, is eyeing his first Formula 1 victory after Piastri’s triumph in a sprint race in 2023. With a strong team of drivers, McLaren promises an exciting season for the fans. Steven Gerrard certainly hoped for a successful weekend for the team.

McLaren failed to secure any victories in the 2023 season, largely due to Red Bull’s dominance. However, Piastri managed to achieve a victory in a sprint race during the season. The 2024 MCL38 has demonstrated impressive speed, especially on the soft compound tires. Furthermore, the team has dismissed any suggestion that their chassis is similar to Red Bull’s RB20.

McLaren proved last year that it is capable of competing with Red Bull, making an incredible recovery throughout the season. Therefore, the 2024 season is expected to be no different, with McLaren applying the lessons learned from previous years. The team is confident in its developed car and the lap times set by its drivers.

As a result, the 2024 campaign promises a lot for McLaren. However, given Red Bull’s dominant performance this season, it is likely that they will win the championship. McLaren will need to moderate their championship aspirations for this season. However, the team aims to secure multiple victories in the 2024 Formula 1 season. Perhaps Steven Gerrard will witness a strong performance from McLaren’s drivers in the next race.
