Liam Lawson defiantly refutes Red Bull bosses’ confidence-boosting claims

Young racing sensation Liam Lawson has set the record straight and rejected the claims made by Red Bull big shots Christian Horner and Helmut Marko. The duo had previously stated that sending Lawson back to Racing Bulls was to rebuild his confidence after a rough start to the 2025 season.

Lawson, who had a shaky beginning at Red Bull before being demoted back to Racing Bulls, refuted the idea that his confidence needed rebuilding. Despite the statements from Horner and Marko, the talented New Zealander remained unfazed and focused on his performance on the track.

The driver’s return to Racing Bulls saw him secure his first points of the season with an impressive P8 finish in Monaco. While his replacement at Red Bull, Yuki Tsunoda, also faced challenges alongside Max Verstappen in the senior team, Lawson remained steadfast in his belief in his abilities.

Addressing the media, Lawson made it clear that his confidence had not wavered throughout the transitions in teams. Dismissing the claims of the Red Bull bosses, he stated firmly, “That is not my story.”

As Lawson continues to prove his worth on the track, the racing world eagerly awaits his next move. Stay tuned for more updates on this rising star in the world of motorsports.
