Quanto tempo demora a pintar um Bugatti. Tem alguma ideia?

China is the world’s largest automotive market, and domestic manufacturers lead technological development in areas such as connectivity, digitalization, electronics, and battery technology. Companies like Li Auto are proving this with the launch of their new electric minivan, the Mega, a model with “mega-capacity” charging.

According to CarNewsChina, the new Chinese model supports a maximum charging power of 552 kW. In a single video of the vehicle undergoing testing, it is possible to observe the charge level accelerating from 6-80% in just eleven minutes and two seconds, accumulating an impressive 77.3 kWh in that short amount of time. According to the manufacturer, this is enough to travel almost 500 km!

The charging curve is equally impressive, with Li Auto guaranteeing that the Mega, equipped with the advanced Qilin batteries from CATL, will not drop below a power limit of 400 kW until 60%, remaining above 300 kW from that point on. Even after reaching 80% charge, the charging power is still 315 kW.

New record

The figures announced by Li Auto for their new electric minivan set a new benchmark for charging power, surpassing industry “heavyweights” such as the Lotus Eletre, which theoretically supports up to 430 kW, or the Kia EV6, which supports 350 kW.
