Lexus has announced that it will unveil the next generation of the ES on April 23 at the Shanghai Auto Show in China.
Launched in 2018 and updated in 2021, the ES is a luxury sedan now designated as the new global flagship, a designation that may signal a shift in the Lexus lineup and possibly suggest the end of the line for the LS.
In anticipation of the world premiere of the new generation ES, Lexus has revealed a teaser that shows the ES appears to adopt a more elegant and aerodynamic profile, with a fastback-style roofline and a more modern silhouette.
At the front, the ES features redesigned, split LED headlights, along with a new version of Lexus’s signature grille. The rear boasts full-width LED taillights, a high beltline, and faux air vents.
Additionally, the new generation of the ES also features new alloy wheels that enhance the updated look and give the sedan a more sophisticated and modern stance.
