Lewis Hamilton’s Spanish Grand Prix dreams were shattered when a late Ferrari issue threatened to derail his F1 campaign. The seven-time champion faced a gearbox problem with his Ferrari SF-25 during the final practice session, leaving fans and experts on edge. Hamilton, who initially showed promise in FP1, struggled to keep up with his teammate Charles Leclerc, raising concerns about Ferrari’s performance.

As the session ended, Hamilton radioed his team about the malfunction, lamenting, “Downshift’s not working properly mate. Something’s wrong with the gear shift.” The tense situation was analyzed by experts, with Anthony Davidson expressing worry over Ferrari’s inability to address the issue promptly. The looming qualifying session added pressure as time ran out for Ferrari to rectify the problem before the race.

With the championship standings on the line, Ferrari couldn’t afford any setbacks in their battle against Red Bull for third place. The team’s strategy was questioned as the clock ticked down, with suggestions to hastily replace the gearbox to avoid penalties for Hamilton. As the drama unfolded, the F1 community awaited Ferrari’s decision on how to salvage Hamilton’s chances at the Spanish Grand Prix.

The European triple-header added to the intensity of the situation, with every point crucial for Ferrari’s standings. As the qualifying session loomed, all eyes were on Ferrari and Hamilton to see if they could overcome the last-minute setback and secure a strong position for the race. Stay tuned for more updates as the Spanish Grand Prix unfolds with unexpected twists and turns on the track.
