Lewis Hamilton’s Shocking Revelation: Ferrari Lagging Behind Mercedes in F1 2025 Season Opener

In a jaw-dropping statement, seven-time World Champion Lewis Hamilton has declared that Ferrari is struggling to keep up with Mercedes in the early stages of the F1 2025 season. Hamilton, who made a bold move to Ferrari after achieving unprecedented success with Mercedes, expressed his concerns about his new team’s lack of pure pace compared to their rivals.

Despite his remarkable skills behind the wheel, Hamilton has faced challenges with Ferrari, as evidenced by his recent P7 finish at the Japanese Grand Prix. While he managed to improve his position during the race, Hamilton acknowledged that Mercedes’ superior speed posed a significant obstacle for Ferrari to overcome.

Hamilton’s former team, Mercedes, has been dominating the competition, with drivers like George Russell and Kimi Antonelli showcasing impressive performances on the track. Hamilton admitted, “Mercedes are faster than us, so that’s why you saw them so close to Charles. They just have more pace than us at the moment.”

Ferrari’s team principal, Fred Vasseur, addressed concerns about the team’s performance, emphasizing the challenges of finding the right balance between downforce and ride height. Vasseur explained, “We all want to run the car lower and have more downforce, but there is a limit. The limit is bottoming and the regulation. And we are all spending the weekend to find where is the limit.”

As the F1 2025 season progresses, all eyes are now on the Bahrain Grand Prix, the next event in the thrilling triple-header series. With Ferrari facing an uphill battle against Mercedes, fans are eager to see if Hamilton and his new team can overcome the odds and make a triumphant comeback on the track.
