Lewis Hamilton’s Shocking Ferrari Fiasco: Ecclestone Urges Immediate Retirement Deal

Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time Formula 1 world champion, finds himself in a whirlwind of criticism and controversy as former F1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone suggests he should step away from the sport, claiming he would be “cheating himself” by continuing. Ecclestone believes Hamilton, who made a shocking move from Mercedes to Ferrari in pursuit of an eighth championship, should have retired already, emphasizing that the partnership between Hamilton and Ferrari is not yielding the expected results for either party.

Hamilton’s struggles on the track have been evident, with his performance visibly declining as the season progresses. The Briton’s recent failure to secure a podium finish and a disappointing qualifying session in Hungary have raised concerns about his future in the sport. Hamilton’s self-criticism and doubts about his own capabilities have fueled speculation about a possible early exit from F1.

Despite having a contract with Ferrari until 2027, Ecclestone suggests that negotiations should take place for Hamilton to leave the team, with full pay. The 94-year-old highlights the need for Hamilton to take a break from the sport and explore other opportunities beyond racing. Ecclestone proposes potential replacements for Hamilton at Ferrari, mentioning promising young drivers like Isack Hadjar and Gabriel Bortoleto as viable options.

With uncertainty looming over Hamilton’s future and the possibility of a premature retirement, the Formula 1 world is left wondering about the fate of one of the sport’s greatest talents. As discussions about Hamilton’s next career move intensify, all eyes are on Ferrari and the potential shake-up that could occur in the world of motorsport.
