Lewis Hamilton, the renowned Ferrari driver, is facing an uphill battle with his car’s braking system during the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix practice sessions. Hamilton expressed his frustration after making what he described as “two of the tiniest” changes to his car, resulting in significant brake issues that hindered his performance during Practice Two.

Despite a promising start in Practice One, where Hamilton finished within a tenth of the fastest McLarens in fifth place, the British driver struggled in the second session. He could only manage the 11th-quickest lap time, prompting him to voice his concerns over the team radio about the car’s brakes.

Hamilton admitted that dealing with brake problems has been a recurring issue throughout the season, something he had not experienced before joining Ferrari. The seven-time champion described the situation as a “lottery,” emphasizing the unpredictability of resolving the brake issues as he likened it to rolling the dice.

When asked if the problem could be fixed before Saturday’s running, Hamilton remained uncertain, indicating the complexity of the issue. Despite the challenges, Hamilton remains hopeful that the team will find a solution before the upcoming sessions.

Hamilton’s teammate, Charles Leclerc, also faced a mixed day, finishing just under two tenths faster than Hamilton in Practice Two. The Ferrari team will be working diligently to address the brake issues and optimize their performance for the remainder of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix weekend.

As the European season kicks off with the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, all eyes are on Hamilton and Ferrari as they strive to overcome these technical hurdles and deliver a competitive showing on the track. Stay tuned for more updates on this developing story.
