Lewis Hamilton sugere que o pódio do Grande Prêmio da Espanha deve ser visto com ceticismo.

Lewis Hamilton achieved his first podium of the 2024 season at the Spanish Grand Prix. The British driver had a slow start to the season, but recent improvements to the Mercedes car have put them back on track. However, not everyone is convinced of their success.

Initially, Hamilton was behind his teammate, George Russell, both in qualifying and in the races. The Mercedes team had been facing issues with design flaws in the W15. But they made a breakthrough and Russell secured pole position in Canada.

Hamilton continued his impressive streak with a podium in Spain. He expressed optimism that Mercedes is closing in on the leaders. However, he acknowledged that last year’s results in Spain were also strong, so he remained cautious. Nonetheless, he believes they have made progress since the start of the season.

After a successful weekend in Spain, Mercedes seems to have regained its form. The team’s fans are hopeful that this momentum will continue in the upcoming races. The team’s director also praised the impact of the improvements on their season.

Looking ahead to the Austrian Grand Prix, Andrew Shovlin, a member of the Mercedes team, described the circuit as challenging and the race as a sprint. Teams have limited time to adjust the car, which increases the challenge. However, Shovlin noted that the recent changes to the car have made it easier to work with.

Despite the challenges of the sprint weekend, Hamilton believes that the improvements have expanded their options for car setup. This gives the team an advantage in quickly adapting to the track and potentially surprising their rivals.
