Lewis Hamilton’s move to Ferrari from 2025 onward has caused quite a stir in the Formula 1 world. The former seven-time F1 world champion’s transfer has been the subject of much discussion, and now Red Bull team adviser, Helmut Marko, has shared his thoughts on the matter.

Marko believes that Hamilton joining the Maranello-based team is a significant event for the sport, with implications that extend beyond the track. In an interview with Sport.de, Marko expressed his opinion on the move and even took a subtle dig at Mercedes team principal, Toto Wolff, for allowing Hamilton to leave.

While Hamilton’s move to Ferrari is set for 2025, it’s important to remember that there are still 24 grand prix races to be contested this year. During this time, there is a possibility of events that could impact Hamilton’s relationship with Mercedes and his future team, Ferrari.

Both Mercedes and Ferrari are top contenders in Formula 1, so it’s almost certain that Hamilton will face off against his future Ferrari teammates, including Carlos Sainz, at some point during the upcoming season. This clash of titans is sure to provide thrilling moments and increase the excitement of the sport.

The past few days have been a whirlwind of emotions for Hamilton, as he bids farewell to Mercedes after 11 incredible years and looks ahead to his new chapter with Scuderia Ferrari in 2025. It remains to be seen how Hamilton’s on-track battles with the Ferrari drivers will impact his relationship with the Italian team. Hamilton undoubtedly hopes to leave Mercedes on a positive note while maintaining a strong connection with his future employer.
