Lewis Hamilton, the seven-time champion, is cautious about Ferrari’s upcoming upgrades for the Austrian and British Grand Prix weekends. The Maranello team is set to unveil a revised floor at the Red Bull Ring, followed by changes to the rear suspension at Silverstone.
Hamilton expressed gratitude for the new upgrades but emphasized the uncertainty surrounding their impact, stating, “We really don’t know the actual effect that it’s gonna have… hopefully, it will be a step in the right direction.” Despite the anticipation, Hamilton remains reserved, hoping that the upgrades will exceed expectations.
Ferrari team principal, Fred Vasseur, highlighted the importance of execution over the pure potential of the car, indicating that small adjustments can make a significant difference in performance. Vasseur emphasized the need for the team to adapt quickly to the new upgrades to maximize their benefits.
Both Hamilton and his teammate Charles Leclerc will be the first to test the new upgrades on the track, with the practice session scheduled to commence tomorrow. The Formula 1 world is eagerly awaiting the results of Ferrari’s enhancements as the competition heats up on the track.
