It is expected that Lewis Hamilton will join Ferrari next season after an impressive 12-year period with Mercedes, during which he won six world championships. Hamilton is currently seeking his first podium of the season after a weak start for the Silver Arrows before the race in Barcelona.
The Technical Director of Mercedes acknowledged that George Russell has outperformed Lewis Hamilton in qualifying this season. Russell has outperformed the more experienced British driver in eight out of nine races.
