Lewis Hamilton não se surpreende com a aproximação dos concorrentes de Max Verstappen e Red Bull em 2024.

Lewis Hamilton believes that Red Bull’s performance decline this season is not uncommon in Formula 1. During the recent race, Hamilton achieved his best result of the 2024 season so far. The seven-time world champion finished third at the Circuit de Catalunya, with his teammate finishing fourth, securing his first podium since last October.

Hamilton stated that he was not surprised that other teams have caught up to Red Bull due to their recent performance drop. He explained that this is a normal part of the sport. As teams approach the end of this generation of cars, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to make improvements in performance. Hamilton highlighted that this is a common trend in Formula 1, where leading teams eventually face challenges in maintaining their advantage. Hamilton recently expressed his dissatisfaction with Red Bull’s performance decline.

According to Hamilton, Red Bull has been leading for many years, but now they have less time to develop their car. He believes that the longer a team stays at the top, the harder it becomes for them to continue improving. Therefore, it is natural for other teams to slowly catch up to them. However, Hamilton stressed that despite these challenges, Red Bull is still performing well and remains a strong competitor.

Hamilton was optimistic about his performance in qualifying, noting the progress made in the previous race. The team has been conducting extensive analysis and collecting information to identify areas where they can improve. Hamilton emphasized that they have been working hard to determine what needs to be done to achieve better results. He remained hopeful that these efforts would lead to better performance in the upcoming races.

The improvements that the team is focusing on mainly involve the tires. They are dedicated to refining the processes from one session to another. Hamilton mentioned that things start to improve when they reach the qualifying phase. He expressed optimism, acknowledging that only time will tell if these changes will make a significant difference. The team is committed to continuous improvement and hopes that these efforts will result in better results in the upcoming races. Hamilton was confident that his hard work would pay off and that they were on the right track to achieve better performance.

Lewis Hamilton expressed some optimism about his form in qualifying after a positive step in the Spanish Grand Prix. He mentioned that there has been a significant amount of analysis and requests for information from the team on how they can improve. Hamilton’s fans would be delighted to see him secure consecutive podiums and create memorable moments before his departure to Ferrari.
