expressed surprise at Ferrari’s disappointing performance in the Spanish Grand Prix, despite introducing significant improvements. Hamilton, who is set to join the Maranello-based team next year, has been cautious about the team’s progress.
Ferrari has been one of the most successful teams this season, accumulating 270 points in ten races and currently occupying second place in the constructors’ championship. However, in the last two races, the team has seemed vulnerable and noticeably slower.
Lewis Hamilton, therefore, showed confusion in witnessing Ferrari’s sudden drop, while also acknowledging Mercedes’ recent strong performances. The German team has achieved two consecutive podiums after a challenging start and was far ahead of Ferrari in terms of speed during the Spanish Grand Prix.

Ferrari will now conduct a thorough assessment of their issues as they face strong competition from Mercedes and McLaren, who are closing in on the Italian team. The next race in Austria will be a test for McLaren, Mercedes, and Ferrari as they seek to score points and secure podium finishes at the thrilling Red Bull Ring.
A Ferrari driver revealed that their SF-24 faced significant problems in high-speed corners at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, which greatly affected their lap times. The team managed to finish in fifth and sixth place after a disappointing performance in Spain.
Carlos Sainz stated that Ferrari had difficulties with instability in high-speed corners at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, causing the car to slow down in certain sections. Sainz also explained that McLaren and Red Bull did not face the same problem as they were able to find more speed on the high-speed track.
Ferrari heads into the Austrian Grand Prix with only 18 points accumulated since the Monaco event, a major blow to their championship aspirations. However, the team still believes that they have a chance in the championship if they perform their best from here on out.
