Lewis Hamilton tem um momento constrangedor ao cair de sua scooter elétrica a caminho do grid do Grande Prêmio do Japão.

Lewis Hamilton went through an uncomfortable incident while navigating the grid at the Japanese GP on his electric scooter. The renowned driver is one to watch during the race. Mercedes had a tough start to the 2024 season, so they need to accumulate points this weekend to compete for a top position. Hamilton was seen entering the grid on his electric scooter, but unfortunately had an embarrassing incident.

It is not uncommon to spot Hamilton riding his electric scooter on race circuits. On this occasion, the British driver stumbled on the scooter while maneuvering among people in the pit lane area. It was undoubtedly an embarrassing moment for the seven-time world champion to find himself in such a situation. However, fortunately, the 39-year-old driver came out unscathed from the incident.

The reason for Hamilton’s fall was a loose wire in the pit lane area. After the incident, he looked around to see if anyone had noticed. He then took a few steps and continued riding the scooter.

Mercedes continues to face challenges in the ground effect era of the 2024 season. Both Lewis Hamilton and his teammate have been achieving mediocre results due to the performance gap compared to Red Bull. The Japanese GP was no exception, as both drivers qualified in seventh and ninth places, respectively. Hamilton, in particular, has been struggling with tire temperatures in Suzuka.

During the race in Suzuka, Hamilton communicated with his radio engineer about the tire temperature issue. He mentioned that the front tires were already too hot to drive comfortably. The team initially put Hamilton and his teammate on hard tires, so the 39-year-old driver had to take care of the tires carefully to maintain a good pace.

In order to have any chance of competing for the world championship, Hamilton will need to maximize his results with the below-par car. Currently, the seven-time world champion is facing difficulties in his final season with the German manufacturer. It is clear that the 39-year-old driver will have to work hard to potentially secure a win this season.
