Lewis Hamilton has spoken out against the rampant speculation surrounding his future and that of Ferrari team boss Fred Vasseur, urging naysayers to “stop making up stuff.” The Formula 1 champion vehemently defended Vasseur and reaffirmed his commitment to Ferrari amidst swirling rumors of changes within the team.

Hamilton’s unexpected outburst came in response to reports from prominent Italian publications suggesting that Vasseur’s position at Ferrari might be in jeopardy. With Ferrari’s less-than-stellar performance in the 2025 season, speculations about Vasseur’s potential replacement have been on the rise.

Despite the pressure mounting on Vasseur, Hamilton stood firmly by his side, praising Vasseur as the driving force behind his presence in the team and expressing his unwavering support for the embattled team boss. “I believe Fred is the person to take us to the top,” Hamilton declared, dismissing the rumors as baseless and emphasizing his alignment with Vasseur’s leadership.

Hamilton’s loyalty to Vasseur extended to a resolute stance against any suggestions of a leadership change at Ferrari, emphasizing the importance of stability and continuity within the team. With Ferrari’s title drought likely to persist, Hamilton emphasized the need for patience and trust in the existing leadership to steer the team towards success.

Moreover, Hamilton took the opportunity to address speculations surrounding his own future with Ferrari, asserting his long-term commitment to the team. Dismissing rumors of discontent or doubts about his role within the team, Hamilton unequivocally stated, “There’s zero doubts,” reinforcing his dedication to achieving success with Ferrari.

As Hamilton urged for an end to the unfounded rumors and innuendos circulating in the media, his impassioned defense of Vasseur and unwavering commitment to Ferrari underscored his determination to overcome any challenges and lead the team to victory.
