Lewis Hamilton Demoted to Ferrari’s Second Driver Position – Shocking Revelations Unveiled

In a surprising turn of events, Lewis Hamilton’s highly anticipated move to Scuderia Ferrari has not lived up to expectations, with speculations arising that the seven-time World Champion has been relegated to the role of the team’s No. 2 driver. Dutch F1 expert Tim Coronel has shed light on the matter, emphasizing the need to recognize Hamilton’s diminished status within the prestigious Italian team.

The announcement of Hamilton’s contract with Ferrari for the 2025 season sent shockwaves through the Formula 1 community, prompting hopes of a new chapter in the champion’s career following a series of challenging years at Mercedes. Despite his unparalleled success with the German team, Hamilton’s transition to Ferrari has been far from smooth sailing, with both him and teammate Charles Leclerc grappling with the unruly SF-25 car.

While Ferrari’s team principal, Fred Vasseur, maintains that both drivers are treated equally, questions have been raised about the internal dynamics within the team. On the Formula 1 podcast by RacingNews365, Tim Coronel and Ruud Dimmers delved into the contentious issue, with Coronel unequivocally asserting Hamilton’s current standing as the team’s second fiddle behind Leclerc.

Coronel pointed out, “All the figures point to it. The qualifications, the races, everything. I think it is very unfortunate because I am also a bit of a fan of Hamilton… But a favorable opinion isn’t enough to sustain a Formula 1 career.” The expert further expressed disappointment in Hamilton’s performance, indicating a perceived decline in his competitiveness on the track.

Despite a glimmer of hope following Hamilton’s victory in the sprint race in China, Ferrari’s subsequent disqualification in the Grand Prix cast a shadow over his prospects. In contrast, Leclerc, too, faced challenges with the SF-25 but managed to secure a podium finish, solidifying his position as the team’s frontrunner in Coronel’s eyes.

As the debate over Hamilton’s role at Ferrari intensifies, the motorsport world eagerly awaits to see if the champion can reclaim his former glory or if he will continue to play second fiddle to his teammate. The future of one of Formula 1’s most iconic figures hangs in the balance as the drama unfolds at Scuderia Ferrari.
