Fernando Alonso Blasts Lewis Hamilton’s Struggles at Ferrari

In a shocking turn of events, two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso has unleashed a scathing critique of Lewis Hamilton’s performance since joining Ferrari. Hamilton’s much-anticipated move from Mercedes to the Italian team has been nothing short of disastrous, with the 40-year-old failing to live up to expectations race after race.

Alonso, who finished just behind Hamilton at the recent Canadian Grand Prix, expressed bewilderment at his former McLaren teammate’s struggles, stating, “What’s wrong with him? I have no idea. Lewis is a great driver, he’s capable of exploiting all his strengths. After 24 races, we’ll do the math. He’s struggling now, but he can turn things around very quickly.”

Hamilton’s difficulties at Ferrari have been evident, with the British driver failing to secure a spot on the podium in any of the season’s first 10 races. Despite outperforming his teammate Charles Leclerc only once this season, Hamilton’s frustration has been palpable, leading to speculations about his future with the team.

Alonso even drew comparisons to George Russell’s challenges at Mercedes last year, suggesting that Hamilton may be facing similar issues with the car’s performance. The Spaniard noted, “But it’s difficult to give an opinion without having all the information.”

As Hamilton gears up for the upcoming Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring, all eyes will be on whether he can overcome his struggles and climb up the standings. Currently sitting in sixth place with 79 points, Hamilton’s championship hopes hang in the balance as he navigates the turbulent waters at Ferrari.

With tensions running high and the pressure mounting, Hamilton faces a make-or-break moment in his F1 career as he strives to turn his fortunes around and prove his critics wrong. Stay tuned for more updates on this gripping saga in the world of Formula 1.
