Ferrari Boss Slams Critics Over Lewis Hamilton’s Performance Amidst Struggles

In a season filled with unexpected challenges for Lewis Hamilton at Ferrari, the media frenzy surrounding the British driver’s performance has drawn the ire of Ferrari Team Principal, Fred Vasseur. Despite a lackluster start to the 2025 season for Hamilton, including a notable sprint race victory in China but no podium finishes in regular races, Vasseur is adamant about silencing the critics.

Vasseur dismissed the quick judgments and negative speculations surrounding Hamilton’s abilities, emphasizing the need to stop the unnecessary noise and give the 40-year-old driver the support and space to bounce back. The Frenchman urged for a more balanced perspective, highlighting the collective effort required by the team, including Hamilton and his teammate Charles Leclerc, to improve their performance and challenge for the championship.

Amidst concerns about Hamilton’s current P6 position in the standings, trailing the championship leader by a significant margin, Vasseur acknowledged the ongoing efforts of every driver on the grid to enhance their performance and contribute to the team’s success. He emphasized the need for patience and collaboration to address the existing challenges and strive for better results moving forward.

Despite rumors circulating about Hamilton’s potential early retirement or wavering commitment to the team, Vasseur expressed confidence in Hamilton’s dedication to overcoming obstacles and delivering strong performances. The focus remains on continuous improvement and teamwork to elevate Ferrari’s competitiveness and pursuit of the drivers’ title.

As Hamilton navigates through a turbulent season, the pressure is on for Ferrari to regroup, enhance their performance, and keep their championship hopes alive. The journey ahead promises to be a test of resilience and determination for both Hamilton and Ferrari as they aim to rise above the setbacks and emerge stronger in the races to come.
