Lewis Hamilton enfrenta situação desafiadora com o Mercedes W15 durante as dificuldades em 2024.

Mercedes currently occupies the fourth position among the fastest teams on the Formula 1 grid for the 2024 season. Lewis Hamilton, a renowned driver, is associated with the team. However, the Mercedes F1 team had a disappointing start to the season. After three rounds, they find themselves in fourth place in the standings. In light of this, the team described the situation with their car, the W15, as extremely complex.

Hamilton and his team had high hopes of performing well from the beginning of the season. Unfortunately, their plans did not materialize as expected. Hamilton, in particular, faced significant challenges in adapting to the W15. During the Australian Grand Prix, the team suffered two retirements. Subsequently, during the Japanese Grand Prix weekend, Hamilton discussed the difficulties they faced with the W15.

The 39-year-old driver expressed that current regulations have made it difficult for his team to establish a solid foundation for their cars. According to Hamilton, this is one of the main reasons they are struggling with the W15, as it happened with their previous cars. Despite the complexities, Hamilton believes that the W15 has untapped potential and additional performance.

Hamilton remains optimistic and aims to unlock the full potential of the car in the upcoming races. The ongoing Japanese Grand Prix weekend could serve as a turning point for the Mercedes team in the 2024 season. With three rounds completed and several races remaining until the end of the season in Abu Dhabi, this weekend presents an opportunity for the team to kickstart their campaign. In the recently concluded FP1 session at the Suzuka International Racing Circuit, Hamilton and his teammate George Russell finished in fourth and fifth place, respectively.
