Lewis Hamilton expressa gratidão por ‘top Qualifying’ performance no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

Lewis Hamilton expressed his satisfaction in achieving his best qualifying result of the season in Barcelona. The 39-year-old driver felt incredibly grateful after securing third position to start the race on Sunday, while his teammate finished in fourth place.

After the qualifying session, Hamilton discussed the performance difference he experienced before qualifying. He acknowledged that he may have lost some speed, but believes it is all a matter of perspective. It could be that his competitors simply improved.

Hamilton mentioned that he was seven tenths slower due to an issue with tire blankets, which are used to heat up the tires before going out on the track. This put him at a disadvantage at the beginning. However, Mercedes was able to resolve the issue for the later sessions. Despite these challenges, the seven-time world champion expressed his gratitude for his best result of the year so far.

Hamilton also expressed his joy in being back among the top drivers. He was pleased to see that the team is making progress and closing in on the leaders. He believes the car can perform better, but his sensitivity to changes indicates there is room for improvement. Despite all the problems, Hamilton expressed his happiness with the result and looks forward to Sunday’s race.

Furthermore, Hamilton explained that when he pushed the car to the maximum, it did not respond as expected. During practice, when he drove cautiously, the car behaved well. However, when he tried to accelerate beyond his limits, the car became very difficult to control, especially after the tire issues.

Certainly, Lewis Hamilton was extremely happy with his performance in qualifying, which was his best so far. He believes that starting in third position is a good position for the race, and the fans would love to see him win if he can surpass the Red Bull and McLaren ahead of him on the grid.
