Lewis Hamilton confirma forte relacionamento com chefe da Ferrari Fred Vasseur desde os dias da F2.

Lewis Hamilton met Fred Vasseur for the first time in 2006, when he was racing for ART Grand Prix. Vasseur will join Ferrari next season, and Hamilton already has several connections within the team. Although Hamilton may not be able to bring his race engineer Bono with him to the Italian Scuderia, he is not worried, as he has a strong friendship with the team principal. Moving to Ferrari means Hamilton will be working with a new group of people, but he had already established a relationship with Vasseur during his days in F2. While he worked with Vasseur, his interactions were mainly with the engineers. Nonetheless, Hamilton has expressed that he has a great bond with Vasseur and feels comfortable joining a new team in Maranello. He also mentioned knowing some other people in the team, including his long-time Mercedes engineer who will join Ferrari in 2024, and his current radio engineer. Having these connections will undoubtedly benefit Hamilton as he transitions to Ferrari. For now, Hamilton’s focus remains on his final year at Mercedes before turning his attention to his future with Ferrari.
