Lewis Hamilton SHATTERS Rumors: Ferrari’s Bold Move Had NO Effect on Team’s Morale!

In a stunning revelation, Lewis Hamilton has firmly dismissed any notions that Ferrari’s audacious decision to halt aerodynamic development on their SF-25 had a “psychological” effect on the team. This dramatic maneuver, announced by team principal Fred Vasseur, was executed as early as April and aimed to channel all resources into the radical changes set to unfold in the 2026 season.

While Ferrari opted for a strategic pause, their rivals—McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes—continued to unleash a barrage of significant upgrades, ultimately allowing the Scuderia to plummet to a disappointing fourth place in the constructors’ standings. In a season that Hamilton himself branded a “nightmare,” the seven-time world champion faced an unprecedented setback, failing to land a single podium finish. This culminated in a particularly frustrating qualifying session in Hungary, where Hamilton lamented his performance, describing himself as “useless.”

Despite the tumultuous year, Hamilton has thrown his full support behind Ferrari’s controversial strategy, insisting that it did not affect him personally. “It didn’t have a psychological effect on me, personally,” Hamilton asserted during a media briefing, including insights shared with RacingNews365. “I didn’t know at the end of the year what our standing would be; no one anticipated it, but it felt worse naturally.”

With fortitude, Hamilton expressed his belief in the necessity of Ferrari’s decision, emphasizing the importance of not lagging behind in development for future cars. “I was pushing for it, it was like: ‘We can’t fall behind the others in terms of development for the new car,’ because it is a steep learning curve for all of us,” he stated.

Hamilton maintained that Ferrari made the right call, especially given their position in the championship race. “That just meant it’s been harder to maintain the performance that we have,” he explained. “I can’t answer for the rest of the team, but everyone has stayed really positive in my experience, so I’ve not seen a psychological impact.”

As the Formula One world holds its breath, Hamilton’s affirmation serves as a beacon of resilience in the face of adversity. Will Ferrari’s gamble pay off in future seasons? Only time will tell, but one thing is for sure—Lewis Hamilton stands unwavering in his conviction, ready to face whatever challenges lie ahead.
