Lewis Hamilton admite culpa por má performance no Grande Prêmio da China devido a mudanças na configuração do carro.

The performance of Lewis Hamilton in the Chinese Grand Prix was severely affected by a modification in the setup of his car after the sprint race. Despite a good start in the sprint, the seven-time world champion’s fortunes turned for the worse after finishing in second place. The 39-year-old Hamilton had a frustrating experience in Shanghai, finishing in ninth place. He openly admitted his mistake over the team radio after the race.

When Hamilton crossed the finish line, his race engineer relayed the news that he had secured ninth place. Bono acknowledged the challenging race for both Hamilton and Mercedes. However, he expressed confidence that Hamilton would come back stronger in the next race.

Hamilton’s decision to change the setup of his car after the sprint race proved to be the cause of his poor performance in qualifying. The seven-time world champion acknowledged this and promised to never make such an adjustment again. He also expressed his gratitude to the team for their efforts during the pit stops.

During the race, Hamilton struggled with grip on the track, which he communicated to his team over the radio. He likened the feeling to something broken in the car, although he recognized that the balance of the W15 could have been the root of the issue. The frustrated champion shared his concerns with his race engineer, Bono.

After the Chinese GP, Hamilton will be eager to put the disappointing race behind him. The change in setup had a significant impact on his weekend, despite his second place in the sprint race. As a result, the 39-year-old driver will leave Shanghai with a sense of disappointment as Mercedes missed out on a favorable result. Only time will tell how Hamilton will fare in the next race.
