LEGO has clearly recognised that Formula 1 is not just about on-track spectacle, but also a hugely powerful global market. Following the success of its scale F1 cars and the popular Speed Champions line, a new rumour suggests the Danish giant is ready to unveil another product destined to excite fans: fully buildable Formula 1 driver helmets made entirely from LEGO bricks — including those of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
According to early reports, LEGO is working on a series of highly detailed F1 driver helmets. These would not be simple accessories, but true collector’s items designed to be displayed, combining motorsport passion with LEGO’s signature design philosophy.
The first two names linked to the project are among the biggest in the sport. The helmets of Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc are said to be leading the launch lineup. Both are modern icons of the Formula 1 paddock, capable of attracting not only LEGO enthusiasts but also dedicated motorsport fans worldwide.
There is also speculation that Fernando Alonso and Max Verstappen could join the range, with the possibility of further expansion to include other top drivers in the future. If confirmed, the collection could quickly become one of the most sought-after F1-themed LEGO series to date.
Each set is expected to include a dedicated minifigure. Not only would fans get the driver in classic LEGO form, but also a miniature version of the assembled helmet itself — a detail that significantly enhances the collectible appeal of the entire concept. According to the rumours, the helmets could be available starting from May 2026.
