The British Mark Cavendish, a cycling legend who holds the record for stage wins in the Tour de France, is the first high-performance ambassador for Aston Martin.
Mark Cavendish will now work with Aston Martin to contribute to a high-performance culture within the British brand, sharing his vision of the competitive world with the brand’s production and marketing plans.

“I am very excited to take on these new roles with Aston Martin. I have great admiration for the brand’s dedication to pushing boundaries, and now being a high-performance ambassador is a unique privilege,” said Cavendish.
To fulfill his new roles, the British cycling legend will be behind the wheel of the DBX707, Aston Martin’s high-performance SUV, which has recently been updated by the British brand and continues to utilize the Mercedes-AMG 4.0-liter biturbo V8 engine that delivers 707 hp and a maximum torque of 900 Nm.

The nine-speed automatic transmission delivers power to an all-wheel-drive system capable of sending 100% of the torque to the rear wheels. These figures allow the DBX 700 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/h.
