In a fierce battle to chase the championship title, Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc is feeling the pressure as the gap widens to a whopping 50 points from the leaders. Determined not to lose any more ground, Leclerc acknowledges the crucial role of Qualifying performance in the Formula 1 season. With contenders like Piastri, Norris, Verstappen, and Russell hot on his heels, Leclerc knows every point counts in this high-stakes competition.

Following a disappointing disqualification in China and a fifth-place finish in Shanghai, Leclerc finds himself trailing by 42 points to the leader. The Ferrari driver emphasizes the urgency of addressing their Qualifying struggles, which have been hampering their chances of closing the gap in the championship race. Leclerc admits that the team has been facing challenges in putting together a strong Qualifying performance consistently, a crucial factor in the fiercely competitive world of Formula 1.

Looking ahead to the upcoming race in Miami, Leclerc is cautious about the team’s prospects on a track that may not play to their strengths. The narrow and slow corners of the Miami circuit could pose a challenge for the Ferrari SF-25, highlighting the importance of maximizing points in the Sprint format to stay in contention for the Drivers’ Championship. With the Spanish Grand Prix on the horizon, Leclerc is keen to see how the competition unfolds and whether any teams are gaining an edge with flexible aerodynamics.
