Charles Leclerc Unveils the Shocking Truth Behind Ferrari’s Early Season Struggles!

In a bold revelation, Charles Leclerc has pulled back the curtain on the tumultuous start to the F1 season for Ferrari, revealing the “very extreme” configuration of the SF-25 as a major catalyst for the team’s blunders. The Maranello powerhouse has grappled with its 2025 model throughout the season, and a controversial double disqualification at the Chinese Grand Prix forced the team to elevate its floor to an unsatisfactory height, compromising both performance and precision.

This precarious situation not only sent Leclerc and rival Lewis Hamilton spiraling down a treacherous path of suboptimal setups but has also been addressed through crucial upgrades that have since transformed their fortunes. Despite the challenges, Leclerc has showcased remarkable resilience, racking up an impressive five podium finishes in the first 14 races of the season.

The Monegasque sensation, who recently claimed pole position at the Hungarian Grand Prix, seemed on the brink of his long-awaited first victory of the season. However, an inexplicable issue with his SF-25 derailed his momentum, leaving him to settle for a disappointing fourth place. Yet, reflecting on his performance thus far, Leclerc expressed satisfaction: “In terms of my own performance… I’m very happy with the way I perform,” he stated, underscoring his relentless drive to improve.

While he remains hungry for victory, Leclerc acknowledged the stark contrast between his highs and lows, particularly recalling a dismal outing at Silverstone. “Those weekends you want to have the least possible in a season. Apart from that, I’m very satisfied. That is a good thing,” he admitted.

Leclerc’s path to podiums was not instantaneous; he had to wait until the fifth race to secure his first top-three finish. However, his performance over the last ten weekends has been nothing short of phenomenal—scoring at a staggering rate of one podium every two races! The young star attributed this upswing to finally getting the SF-25 into a “reasonable window” consistently, which has drastically reduced the number of mistakes.

“The upgrades have gone in the right direction, making life easier for drivers like Lewis and myself,” he declared. “At the beginning of the season, it was extremely difficult. We had to set up the car in very extreme ways, and that made us also do more mistakes. Now we are a bit more in a reasonable window, which helps us to extract the maximum out of the car. It’s good that we see the result.”

As the F1 world eagerly anticipates the circus’s return from the summer break at the Dutch Grand Prix, eyes will be glued to Leclerc and Hamilton, both of whom are determined to put the pieces together and reclaim their rightful place at the front of the grid. The stakes have never been higher, and the drama is just heating up!
