Saiba como funciona a nova assinatura luminosa ativa do Audi Q6 E-Tron

The Audi Q6 E-Tron debuts a new active lighting signature for both daytime running lights and taillights, allowing communication with other road users.

The new lighting signature making its debut on Audi’s new all-electric SUV is designed to alert other drivers to certain road hazards, using static rear lighting with integrated warning symbols, benefiting from the new generation of digital OLED taillights.

The lights are divided into two parts: a more classic one and another that changes appearance thanks to the OLED panels, which are divided into 60 segments each. Its operation is based on specific programming and a controller that responds in milliseconds to different situations for which it is prepared.

Benefiting from the sensors and cameras installed in the Q6 E-Tron, drivers can draw a hazard triangle with the lights. This alert appears when the driver manually activates the warnings or if the car detects any danger on the road, such as a vehicle parked on the shoulder, or an accident.

Furthermore, these indicators are capable of expanding the braking light area if the rear sensors detect that a vehicle behind the Q6 E-Tron is approaching faster than usual.

Overall, the Audi Q6 E-Tron has 8 distinct light signatures that can be visible in both the LED headlights and OLED taillights.
