Leapmotor já produziu um milhão de veículos na China

Chinese brand of the Stellantis consortium, Leapmotor, announced this Thursday that it has just produced its one-millionth vehicle in China, a record achieved in six years. However, Leapmotor emphasized that it produced 500,000 vehicles in 343 days, marking an acceleration in its production pace.

Founded in 2017, Leapmotor produced its first car in June 2019. Five years later, the company announced it had manufactured the 500,000th model, and last year saw Stellantis partially acquire Leapmotor. The Chinese company took the opportunity to accelerate its production volume and is focusing on international expansion.

In August 2025, Leapmotor sold 57,066 vehicles globally, with 51,162 units sold in China. From January to August 2025, Leapmotor sold over 320,000 units worldwide, with 289,732 units destined for the domestic market.

It is worth noting that the latest model from Leapmotor to hit the European market is the B10, an SUV aimed at the C segment, which is the brand’s third 100% electric model.

The new model complements the existing European lineup, which currently consists of the city car T03 and the SUV C10, based on the new LEAP 3.5 architecture, and features a permanent magnet electric motor with a single-speed transmission, delivering a power output of 218 hp and 240 Nm of torque, transmitted to the rear axle. These figures allow the new B10 to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in eight seconds and reach a top speed of 170 km/h.

The electric motor is powered by two LFP battery options, one of 56.2 kWh that claims a range of up to 361 kilometers in the WLTP cycle, and a 67.1 kWh battery for 434 kilometers of range. Both battery variants support AC charging of 11 kW and DC fast charging of up to 168 kW. The latter allows the battery to be charged from 30% to 80% in 20 minutes.
