The Chinese brand of the Stellantis consortium, Leapmotor, announced a collaboration with the German tuner Irmscher to launch a limited edition high-performance version of the C10 SUV, which will have a limited run of only 250 units.

The new iC10 has now been revealed by the brand and is equipped with an 800-volt architecture, two electric motors, one per axle, capable of delivering 585 hp and all-wheel drive, allowing for an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds.

The electric motors are powered by a specially developed 81.9 kWh LFP battery for this model, which allows for “ultra-fast charging” from 30% to 80% in 22 minutes.

This muscular version of the C10 promises to offer an “exciting and safe driving experience” on all types of surfaces, “whether on wet roads, winding roads with snow, or dirt tracks.”

“The i C10 is a fantastic car and I am very excited about it. I am firmly convinced that our new top-of-the-range model will drive the Leapmotor brand in Europe. Greater range, faster charging, and driving dynamics without compromising comfort or efficiency: the i C10 will set new standards for Leapmotor”, said Tianshu Xin, head of Leapmotor International.

The Chinese brand promised to reveal more details about the 100% electric iC20, as well as the prices of this limited edition at the beginning of next month.
