According to the French newspaper Les Echos, the Leapmotor B10, recently launched in Portugal (as previously reported by AutoGear), could serve as the basis for a new Opel model as early as 2026. The same source indicates that the model will be produced, starting next year, at the factory that Stellantis owns in the Zaragoza area of Spain (from which the Peugeot 208 and Opel Corsa are produced), which likely contributed to the alleged decision by the Italian-French consortium for this fully electric B-SUV, currently only produced in China, to bear the lightning logo, marking an absolute debut.
Although none of these possibilities have been confirmed yet, Les Echos assures that Stellantis intends to officially announce these two decisions by the end of 2025. It is worth noting that the B10, positioned in Leapmotor’s lineup between the C10 and the T03, is offered in the Portuguese market starting at €29,285, with an electric motor of 218 hp, and a battery with a capacity of 56.2 kWh or 67.1 kWh, for a range of up to 434 km in the WLTP cycle.
