Lando Norris choca os incrédulos com primeira vitória impressionante no Grande Prêmio de Miami.

Lando Norris achieved a long-awaited victory in Formula 1 by securing his first win after consistently finishing on the podium without winning. The current world champion, who had been dominating the sport once again, was surprised by the McLaren driver, who emerged as the surprise winner of the race.

Norris, who set a new record in Formula 1 with 15 podiums without a win, has shown moments of brilliance since his debut in 2019. However, he often made crucial mistakes that prevented him from securing a victory. Despite this, McLaren continued to support Norris, signing long-term contracts to ensure his future with the team.

Online criticism has plagued Norris for years due to his inability to win a race, despite McLaren’s triumph at the 2021 Italian GP. However, the recent race provided the perfect opportunity for Norris to prove his critics wrong and make a statement.

Norris turned down an offer to be Max Verstappen’s partner at Red Bull, with some claiming he was afraid to compete against his teammate. His comments about wanting to win with McLaren did not sit well with fans. However, the Miami GP showed that Norris is capable of defeating the current world champion.

During a Safety Car period caused by a collision, Norris took the lead in the race, overtaking Verstappen, who was in second place. Although it was expected that Verstappen would quickly overtake Norris, the McLaren driver managed to extend his lead and maintain his position throughout the race.

Crossing the finish line with over seven seconds advantage over Verstappen, Norris showed his ability to resist threats and perform well under pressure. This victory solidifies his position as a potential future world champion in Formula 1 and has received praise from other drivers, including Lewis Hamilton and Verstappen himself.

Norris’s victory will undoubtedly boost his confidence, and he will likely push even harder in the upcoming races. McLaren now has the potential to challenge Red Bull for race wins, and Norris will be aiming to achieve more victories in the next races.
