In a thrilling display of speed and strategy, McLaren’s Lando Norris has clinched the top spot in the second practice session of the highly anticipated 2025 Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix. With a blistering lap time of 1:33.602, Norris has sent a clear message to his rivals that he is in contention for the top honors this weekend.

Hot on his heels, Mercedes prodigy Andrea Kimi Antonelli showcased his prowess, finishing just 0.029 seconds behind the McLaren ace. The young talent is making waves in the F1 scene, and his performance in Vegas reaffirms his emerging status among the elite drivers of the sport.

Meanwhile, Charles Leclerc, who topped the first practice session, found himself in third place this time around, trailing Norris by 0.161 seconds. The Ferrari driver will undoubtedly be looking to reclaim his edge as the weekend progresses.

The session was not without its surprises as experienced drivers like Nico Hulkenberg and Isack Hadjar demonstrated their potential, finishing in fourth and fifth places, respectively. Hulkenberg, representing Sauber, clocked in at 1:33.879, while the Racing Bulls duo of Hadjar and Liam Lawson finished closely behind, intensifying the competition among the teams.

The data from FP2 also highlighted several key performances: – George Russell, another Mercedes star, landed in seventh with a time of 1:34.037, showcasing the strength of the German team. – Williams’ Alex Albon and Red Bull’s Max Verstappen followed, with gaps of 0.465 and 0.503 seconds from the leader, respectively. – Lewis Hamilton, a multiple-time champion, faced challenges and ended up in the 10th position, 0.525 seconds off the pace, leaving fans speculating about his chances in the upcoming race.

As the session concluded, the excitement was palpable, with many teams and drivers still fine-tuning their setups. The Las Vegas Grand Prix promises to be a breathtaking event, with fierce rivalries and intense competition on the horizon.
