Lando Norris lamenta não ter vencido Max Verstappen no Grande Prêmio da Espanha.

The errors of Lando Norris during the Spanish Grand Prix prevented him from having a real chance to win the race. The McLaren team has made a remarkable comeback in terms of performance since the 2024 season and Norris has demonstrated impressive skills in the races. He was in pole position and hoped to secure his second victory in the Spanish GP race. However, a series of errors at the start caused him to lose the race, and he expressed his frustration with the result.

Norris almost achieved the fastest lap during the qualifying session, and McLaren’s strong performance this season increased the likelihood of a race win. However, Max Verstappen and his team had a better start, allowing them to quickly overtake Norris. As a result, Norris expressed his disappointment over the team radio, admitting that he messed up the start of the race, costing him the victory. Despite this, he praised the team for the excellent chassis performance, but believed they deserved a better result.

Norris had a good start to the current season, surpassing many other drivers on the grid. Ferrari also had a good start, but a series of errors later cost them the second place in the drivers’ championship. The double DNF (Did Not Finish) in Canada sealed Charles Leclerc’s fate in the championship standings.

Norris achieved his best position in the drivers’ standings thanks to the second place and fastest lap in the Spanish GP. He will likely hold onto second place for a while due to his exceptional performance this season.

The 2024 season has provided thrilling action in the races, especially considering the ground effect era. Mercedes has also significantly improved after their disappointing start to the campaign. With 10 stages already completed, the battle for first place in the championship is shaping up to be exciting and promising this year.
