Norris is widely known for his strong opposition to sprint races. However, Formula 1 does not seem to have any intention of reducing the number of sprint races in the near future and even plans to increase their frequency in the coming seasons.

The British driver stated that he prefers the traditional race weekend format over the sprint race format. The 24-year-old driver has stood out in recent seasons. Additionally, Norris was the only McLaren driver to achieve a podium in the current season. This difference in results and pace has raised concerns among experts regarding Norris’ lack of success in the MCL38.
When asked about the reason Norris is being overshadowed by his teammate, an explanation was provided.
The head of the American team explained that Norris has significantly more experience than Piastri, which is the cause of the difference in pace. In addition, Norris has now mastered the skill of managing the tires, which is a challenging task during races. This is an area where Piastri will continue to learn as he progresses in his career.
Furthermore, the McLaren team aims to perform well in Miami. The team announced their plans to bring upgrades to the American circuit and is hopeful to challenge for second place in the constructors’ standings.
