Former Formula 1 world champion Jacques Villeneuve has made a bold statement predicting that if Lando Norris can recover psychologically, he has what it takes to become the World Champion. Norris, who started the season as a favorite for the 2025 title, has faced a tough few races recently, now finding himself chasing his McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri.

Despite Norris’ recent challenges, Villeneuve believes there is still a strong possibility for the Briton to clinch the championship this year. The McLaren duo is shaping up to be the main contenders for the coveted title, with their high-performing MCL39 car providing them with a significant advantage on the track.

As the season progresses, all eyes will be on Norris to see if he can bounce back mentally and regain his position as a frontrunner in the championship battle. With Villeneuve’s vote of confidence, the pressure is on for Norris to show that he has the resilience and skill to come out on top in the ultimate showdown for the World Championship title.
