LANDO NORRIS: McLaren fechou a lacuna para a Red Bull liderada por Max Verstappen mais cedo do que ele esperava.

A McLaren has accumulated a total of 134 points in the 2024 Constructors’ Championship, according to recent reports. It was stated that McLaren was able to match the pace and performance of Red Bull earlier than expected. This season, the orange team showed great promise and even outperformed Red Bull on several occasions.

Red Bull had a strong start to the 2024 season, winning five out of eight races. However, they showed signs of vulnerability in races held in Australia, Miami, and Monaco, where they were significantly outperformed by both Ferrari and McLaren.

Unlike the previous season dominated by Red Bull, this year has already seen three different race winners. The only non-Red Bull winner in 2023 was in Singapore. With McLaren’s improved performance, Lando Norris praises the team for their hard work.

The McLaren drivers, including Lando Norris, have delivered exceptional performances for the Woking-based team. They are now in a position to challenge for the championship title this season. To keep up with Red Bull and Ferrari, the dynamic duo will need to maintain their high level of performance in the upcoming races.

The McLaren team principal expressed caution when it comes to challenging Red Bull for the title, especially after their struggles in Miami and Imola. Red Bull has only managed one win in the last three races, as they have faced difficulties in finding their rhythm.

A specific challenge for Red Bull has been tracks with kerbs and irregularities, which have a greater impact on the race compared to high-speed circuits. This issue has been repeatedly highlighted by Max Verstappen. McLaren has also faced similar challenges, but has been more successful in generating downforce with their MCL38.

The team, led by Stella, emphasizes the importance of understanding Red Bull’s limitations in order to mount a successful title challenge. The races between Canada and Spain will play a crucial role in determining the outcome of the 2024 season. Fans can expect an exciting championship battle between the Milton-Keynes-based team and McLaren.
