The notorious Nico Rosberg curse strikes once more as chaos ensues on the track with new revelations involving Lando Norris emerging from the shadows.

At the recent Canadian Grand Prix, McLaren teammates Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris found themselves entangled in a dramatic collision on Lap 67 out of 70 at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. This clash marked a pivotal moment in the F1 2025 championship race, leaving fans bewildered and on the edge of their seats.

As the dust settled, Norris was left stranded on the main straight following the incident, while Piastri managed to salvage a fourth-place finish after a necessary tire change during Safety Car conditions. Despite the post-race analysis, Norris took full responsibility for the mishap, admitting his fault over team radio and offering a direct apology to Piastri in a display of sportsmanship.

The aftermath of the collision saw Norris classified in 18th place, allowing Piastri to extend his lead in the Drivers’ Championship by 22 points as the Austrian Grand Prix looms large on the horizon.

Adding a twist to the unfolding drama was the presence of Nico Rosberg, the enigmatic 2016 World Champion and former Mercedes ace, who was on-site in Montreal as a Sky F1 television pundit. Rosberg’s uncanny ‘curse’ seemed to rear its head once more as he shared a selfie on social media from the starting grid, eerily close to the very spot where Norris and Piastri’s paths crossed.

The saga deepens as fans speculate about the origins and implications of the infamous Nico Rosberg curse, a phenomenon that has left a trail of misfortune in its wake. From Charles Leclerc’s Monaco misfire to Max Verstappen’s pole position woes in Hungary, Rosberg’s selfies have become intertwined with unexpected twists of fate for various drivers on the grid.

The narrative took a remarkable turn when McLaren humorously posted a sign in their garage declaring ‘No Rosberg selfies,’ underscoring the playful yet mysterious nature of this peculiar hex. Despite the light-hearted banter, the repercussions of the curse have been felt far and wide, leaving fans and drivers alike pondering the mystical forces at play in the world of Formula 1.

As the tension mounts and the championship battle heats up, the shadow of the Nico Rosberg curse looms large, casting a spell of uncertainty over the thrilling spectacle that is F1. Will this enigma continue to shape the destinies of drivers, or is it merely a coincidence in the high-stakes world of motorsport? Only time will tell as the drama unfolds on the track, with each race bringing new twists and turns in this captivating saga.
