Lando Norris lamenta começo ruim que lhe custou a vitória no GP da Espanha contra Max Verstappen.

Lando Norris expressed his dissatisfaction after coming close to beating Max Verstappen and securing his second victory of the season in Barcelona. The race in 2024 was highly exciting, with Norris attempting to surpass the current championship leader. However, Verstappen maintained his advantage throughout the race and ultimately clinched another win. Norris has now revealed the main reason for his defeat against the reigning world champion.

Norris stated that he should have emerged as the race winner. He attributed his second place to a poor start, which resulted in him losing positions to other drivers, including George Russell. Despite this setback, Norris praised his McLaren car, stating that it performed exceptionally well during the Grand Prix. He believed that his team was the fastest in the race and acknowledged the many positive aspects of the weekend. However, the disappointment of losing the race overshadowed everything else for the 26-year-old driver.

Reflecting on his start, Norris expressed his intention to review his performance and identify where he went wrong when the race began. He admitted that Verstappen and Red Bull deserved the victory due to their impressive driving. However, Norris expressed his disappointment at not being able to secure his second win of the season. He remains optimistic about the upcoming races in Austria and Great Britain, which he considers his favorite tracks.

Despite his disappointment, Norris is determined to bounce back and challenge Verstappen at Red Bull’s home race in Austria. Fans eagerly await another thrilling showdown in the next stage of the season.
