In a thrilling showdown at the Miami Grand Prix, Lando Norris doesn’t hold back in his criticism of rival Max Verstappen, labeling him as “not very smart” and “aggressive.” The race was filled with drama as Norris and Verstappen clashed on multiple occasions, with Norris expressing his frustration at Verstappen’s tactics.

The tension between Norris and Verstappen escalated right from the start, with a heated exchange on the opening lap resulting in Norris losing positions after being forced off the track by the Red Bull driver. Despite Norris’s claims of being pushed off by Verstappen, race stewards deemed no further action was necessary.

As the race progressed, the battle between Norris and Verstappen intensified, with the McLaren driver ultimately finishing in second place behind race winner Oscar Piastri. Norris believes that a 1-2 finish for the F1 2024 title contenders was possible if Verstappen had raced more strategically.

Reflecting on his on-track encounters with Verstappen, Norris expressed his frustration, stating, “He’s ruining his own race. He’s not racing very smart.” The McLaren driver highlighted the challenging dynamics of racing against Verstappen, emphasizing the high stakes involved in trying to overtake the Dutch driver.

Despite the setbacks faced during the race, Norris remained positive about his second-place finish, acknowledging the difficulties of competing against a fierce competitor like Verstappen. The intense rivalry between Norris and Verstappen adds an exciting layer to the F1 landscape, promising more thrilling battles in the races to come.
